Since joining and then taking over Hufflepuff Common Room, my game play has jumped so much, I find that the people that I play with daily are enjoyable and I have kept a tight ship up and running (even running neighbor hood elections for a new leader in which I was re-elected unopposed.
Neighbor hoods can have a HUGE impact on the game, and I implore you to look at your own and evaluate if you are truly happy.
Everytime I log in, there is always 99+ conversations, people trading, people talking, it has made us more active and as such we have advanced and upgraded much more. Things like events, competitions and even the trade board because so much easier, when you need premium items, you have to have a great bunch of people to trade with who aren't just all out for themselves.
The other advantage of having this of course if you can also build up a network for any other games you may play and expanding out to not just Hay Day (Not that there is really such a thing)
This is not really a hints or tips post, more advice, if you cannot be 100% confident in your neighbor hood and its players.. get out now, create your own if you have a huge Facebook friend list or find a new one, you may not find the right group at first, but eventually you will find that group that you do click with :)
So, if you really want to keep building momentum with this game, then its time to take a close hard look at your situation.. and hey.. if your not in a neighbor hood yet, you are missing out :P
